Mr Schumi offers excellent services. His salon is friendly, efficient and very welcoming. You do not stand on ceremony here, you are treated with immediate friendship and can discuss all your hair concerns with Heinz, he is a world renowned hairdresser, who now likes a quieter life in a more informal atmosphere but his cutting skills are truly magic, his brother Gregor is also an excellent cutter and stylist. They are both excellent for men and women, in fact, many famous stars and models can be found sitting chatting to them mist days. Natali is an excellent colourist and is so quick it is a pleasure unlike a lot of colourists who take forever to finish! You must try this small saloon and you won't regret it it may be the best move you ever made. 100 per cent recommended and I have been a customer for 13 years - and I have very difficult hair. - thin and curly but it looks fab . Just ring and go...

Schumi has been cutting my hair for over 30 years,ever since he opened his first salon opposite where I lived in Yeoman's Row, Knightsbridge.Much has changed since then but my hair,expertly husbanded by Schumi ever since, has scarcely changed-apart from a few grey intruders.Not only is he a skilled expert in his craft, but he is also delightful company which makes the whole experience something one can look forward to.

Heinz is just great. He's been looking after my hair for ages - longer than I like to admit, and has tremendous expertise in cutting and shaping. I learned from Schumi years ago that the secret of easy-to-look-after hair is clever cutting. It means that when you wash and shape your own hair in between visits to the salon, it never takes more than 15 minutes, as your hair is cleverly cut to go into the right shape with minimum fuss and time-wasting.

I discovered Mr Schumi after asking a passing lady who was responsible for her beautiful haircut! From every angle, Mr Schumi excells. He cuts to suit my face and hair type. Mr Schumi knows instinctively the most flattering haircut for me and is still able to meet my specific requirements. My pretty wash and wear style lasts for many weeks. Heinz Schumi is an amazing hairdresser and I couldn't recommend him more highly! He has cut my hair for about 6 years now and I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. I suggest giving him free reign - every haircut is every so slightly different (but always excellent) so your hair is never boring! Heinz is very personable and the atmosphere is very relaxed and easy-going. Give him a try!

I can't praise Heinz enough, I think it's great for people of middle age onwards to be able to be confident in visiting a salon and coming out with being happy with the result. There are not many hairdressers these days that instinctively know what suits you and what you want.

I have been going to Heinz Schumi for over 35 years ... that should underline how much I value his haircuts. He is the kind of hairdresser where you can close your eyes and know that the hairstyle he does will be great. Moreso, its a haircut which lasts, so you don't need to rush back for a trim or reshape. His approach is personal so he cuts and styles your hair to suit your face and personality, unlike so many others who know how to cut a bob or whatever, but its not specific to who you are or what your 'look' is. I would highly recommend Heinz. He is also a person larger than life; friendly and welcoming. One feels one gets a personalized experience rather than being in a large salon and one of many in a factory line. Definitely one to watch.

I recently had a hair cut by Mr Shumi and his staff. I cannot rate Vanilla Hair and Beauty highly enough! The haircut was first class and treatment lovely. This was an excellent way to spend an hour or two on a Saturday morning relaxing after a hard working week. The Vanilla staff will pamper you (there's even a nice back massage to look forward too) and Heinz always knows how to bring a smile to clients's faces. Thank you very much team.

SCHUMI'S HAIR SALON at Vanilla on the Kings Road is a refreshing and relaxing hairdressing experience. It is easy to get to and the colouring, hair cutting and styling are superb. I had my hair cut there recently and I am thrilled both with the cut and the style. It is short, smart, sassy and flattering and the colour is divine. I went in to the Salon looking like wild woman - (I had been travelling for a while) and came out svelte and smooth and how I like - and I think most of us - like to look like. I thoroughly recommend.

I went to Schumi to have my hair cut in the style of Audrey Hepburn- from long hair to very very short. I was absolutely terrified at how it would turn out, but he did the most marvellous job! It looked incredible. He was engaging through out the experience and continuously communicated with me to make sure I was happy with the direction it was going in. The salon itself has a wonderful atmosphere, always full of characters and stimulating conversations. Its a hub of fun. I always look forward to going.

Heinz and Gregor Schumi are both big players in hair grooming and styling for many years in Chelsea, Mayfair and Knightsbridge. Most of their clients have been coming to them for many years and this is not at all surprising as they are both big players and are leader in hair health, glossing, hydrating and cutting. I have been coming to them for many years and there is always a sense of feeling good in oneself after having my hair washed and styled and coloured. In general, Linda does my hair with Heinz doing the cutting and styling. Linda and Heinz are both very professional and on top of that they are very good hair and shoulder massagers! It is always a treat when Linda gives me the hair and head massage. One just feels so good and if you go in with a headache or a migraine this gets abolished after the head massage. The salon is very welcoming with a very good atmosphere. You get to meet all the regular clients and it just feels so homely. There is a sense of old school service provided by both the Schumis and Linda. I highly recommend the salon and you will never regret the experience once you visit the place for your hair grooming.

Heinz Schumi is a one-off, an extra-ordinary character. He knows how to cut hair superbly well, using the natural fall of the hair to allow a lasting result. My hair is short, and the cut lasts for a good 6 weeks. The results have led several neighbours, both women and men, to follow me to Schumi. But an appointment with Heinz isn't limited to having your hair done: you can have a treatment to make the hair glow with good health, and you can have a shoulder massage to relax out the stress, all at no extra cost. And you can have intelligent conversation about the state of the world, the nation or Chelsea itself.

Heinz Schumi has been cutting my hair for 25 years. He is an amazing stylist and a man of many talents: an artist not only with scissors, but also with his paintbrush and canvases. His sympathetic attention to detail when cutting hair is second to none. He understands that every head of hair is different, and that working with the natural flow is of paramount importance. He has an all-encompassing knowledge of styles for men and women of every age. My two children (a boy and a girl, 15 and 13) have both been having their hair cut by Heinz all their lives. Now in their teenage years, they would never dream of going anywhere else. Could there be any more conclusive recommendation? Heinz's Chelsea salon is a haven of excellence. Long may he prosper!

Heinz Schumi has been cutting my hair for a few years now and I would never go to anyone else. He keeps it simple and does what you want but he's a brilliant hairdresser so he'll always be creative snd maybe encourage you to go for something different. The salon is small and friendly and you'll have some time under a steamer hood with conditioner on your hair and sometimes a shoulder massage thrown in. All in all there's nowhere better for a good haircut and an hour or so of calm and friendly attention.

I have known Schumi for 7 years and I do not let anyone do my hair, since he started being my stylist. I love coming here, as the salon is also an art studio, so there is always a very good atmosphere and a lot of knowledge going on all the time.
