I have known Schumi for 7 years and I do not let anyone do my hair, since he started being my stylist. I love coming here, as the salon is also an art studio, so there is always a very good atmosphere and a lot of knowledge going on all the time. I usually speak to him in German, so I am very lucky I can get to practice it. He is a very good teacher and a very familiar person. I would recommend anyone to give it a go.

Heinz Schumi is a remarkable man as well as a brilliant hairdresser. It is a pleasure to visit his salon off the King's Road. Heinz is always good company and has a searching mind that is both stimulating and original. His many 'causes' are to help other people, prevent maladministration and and see that justice is done. I have been going to his salon for many years. I am aged 71 and he makes me look and feel 51. Long may he reign as the King of Chelsea hairdressers.
